California faces a monumental challenge in achieving its ambitious climate change policies and goals. To materially reduce the risks of catastrophic forest fires and contribute to carbon neutrality, the state must remove 250 million tons of biomass over the next two decades.

Historically, capturing, removing, and permanently sequestering carbon at this scale has been both logistically and economically cost-prohibitive due to limitations in biomass processing infrastructure.

However, Carbon C2 is changing the game. By scaling up a modular forest carbon capture and sequestration innovation, they are turning this challenge into a leadership opportunity.

And of course - together with the help of billions of dollars of California Climate Investments and Federal dollars - we will directly protect these communities from future wildfires while restoring lands past fires have already damaged

Your dollars will be matched with federal IRA dollars and California Climate Investments dollars to create badly needed infrastructure and workforce to properly thin our forests
All biochar produced will be amended in dozens of local communities of hard-working farmers and ranchers, restoring organic carbon content to their soil and sequestering carbon for years
Each plant will be operated by 25-30 veterans returning from protecting our Country, and create new businesses for these talented highly-trained resources to own and operate these plants
Together, we will create millions of dollars of new income in our first 10 rural communities, protect them from fire, enable new homes and attract new businesses for employees' families
Each plant will bring hundreds of thousands of property taxes into that community, that will in turn be used to build schools and drive creation of new businesses to serve & support these communities
